Prescriptive, Weight Loss Medication
Phentermine is FDA approved and is a well-established, safe, and effective weight loss medication. Phentermine acts as an appetite suppressant and therefore, reduces the sensations of appetite, cravings, hunger, and binge eating. It works within the “appetite control center” in the brain. Therefore, there is no irritation within the digestive system. Phentermine is not an amphetamine and is not addictive.
The initial office visit at GLOW is by appointment (no appointment needed for return visits), with one of our board certified nurse practitioners and is approximately 30 minutes in duration. We respect your time. However, we also recognize that you must be fully informed, and you receive answers to all of your concerns. Therefore, we will use time as needed for your individuality. The daily dosage of Phentermine is individually determined as appropriate for each patient. This determination of dosage is consistent with each patient’s needs to achieve appropriate response with the lowest effective dosage. Phentermine is prescribed by one of our board certified nurse practitioners, and is dispensed in our office. The Phentermine dispensed at GLOW is recognized as 100% Phentermine and is made in the United States. For your health and safety, we do not dispense medication that is made in foreign countries. Also, we do not dispense medications that we deem as dangerous and/or ineffective. Your health and well-being are at the forefront of our practice.
Depending on the appropriate dosage, patients may receive up to 30 tablets or capsules over a 30 day period. You may call GLOW to order your refill before arriving at the office; we will do everything possible to have your refill ready within ten minutes of your call. Refill requests left by message may not be refilled as quickly. We recommend that you speak directly with us in order to accommodate your refill request most efficiently.
