Submental fullness can be caused by genetics, weight gain, or age. This “trouble spot” can now be treated with this non-invasive injectable! The active ingredient in KYBELLA® is deoxycholic acid. Deoxycholic acid is a naturally occurring molecule in the body that aids in the breakdown and absorption of dietary fat.
When injected into the fat beneath your chin, KYBELLA® causes the destruction of fat cells. Once destroyed, those cells cannot store or accumulate fat, so further treatment is not expected once you reach your desired aesthetic goal. Your results are permanent!
Since everyone’s chin profile is different, the number of treatments varies from patient to patient and is specifically tailored to meet your needs. Each KYBELLA® treatment session is given at approximately 30 days apart.
