This 2 day 16
hour, advanced class is for those who are currently or are
considering being certified in Pediatric Advanced Cardiac Life
Support. This is an excellent class for those who are in
pre-hospital environments and wish to expand their capabilities
in their own environment and are considering upgrading to the
JCAHO standards. All training provided is in strict accordance
with the (American Heart Association) AHA standards. All of
GlowMed.com instructors are AHA certified.

Capabilities

On-site
CPR training provided by AHA Certified instructors
-
Training
is conducted at your office, school or hospital. If needed
we will supply all equipment, (manikins are 500.00 per day
for 2), we prefer to use your monitor/defibrillator, but
will supply as needed. This allows you to maintain staffing
and keep necessary staff within their own environment.

Initial
Certification or Recertification of your employees

All
participants who successfully complete this course will
receive cards, and certs. Nursing staff will receive 16
hours of CEU’s.
Prerequisites
-
Current
CPR certification. To recertify in PALS, must be no greater
than 1 year.

note. The AHA HAS NOT published the 2001 books, they should
be in late summer. Please visit the
AHA Web Site.

Those
considering should have a strong background in Pediatrics or
Advanced Cardiac Care.
