Emily is a native of East Tennessee, having grown up in Knoxville. Emily received a Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing from Tennessee Wesleyan College, where she graduated at the top of her class. After nursing school, Emily chose to work in Neonatal Intensive Care at The University of Tennessee Medical Center at Knoxville and then Fort Sanders Regional Medical Center, Department of Women’s and Children’s Services.

After spending several years in those settings, Emily knew it was time for a change. She wanted to use her nursing background and decided to co-open Glow Medical Aesthetics, with her mother, Shirley, and her sister, Jennifer.
